Filling Fresh Water Tank

I've got a Silverback 29RE. Does the fresh water tank have a vent to the outside? I was wondering if you have to open a valve somewhere to vent the tank when you are filling it with 66 gallons of water. The air has to go somewhere.

And how do you tell when it is full?

Thanks

Mine has a over fill tube, water will spill out of it when it is full.

Get one of those filler attachments that has long tube and digital readout for amount of water going in.....there should be small vent next to the filling hole....good luck

Mine has an overflow. It's located behind the left rear tire. Hard to detect and sometimes makes a mess if you don't watch it closely. Love my trailer hope you enjoy yours!

Yes there is a vent. It's under the fresh water tank. Look for a blue tube with a cut
end hanging down somewhere near the rear axle on the ODS. Fill till water comes out, fill till your gauge reads full, or fill by time. 4 minutes will get you about 35 gals.

Thanks Ducky, I found the blue tube hanging down near the rear axle on the driver's side.
