I have emptied toilet bowls and lawn sprinkler ground holes. These are two instances where I have picked up water with the suction tool.
Rinse with WD-40

It is the translucent plastic container that holds the transmission fluid that
is needed for your landing gear, slide outs and, if equipped, your Level-Up system.
Find it above your batteries. There are no "fill" lines on it. Fill it to 1/2" from the top with all slides in and jacks up.
Yes you should be checking it.
