Two in the battery compartment and two in the vented box placed next to the others but in storage compartment. Have auto water's on order. With the solar keeps batteries at 100%

Nice job mr. dlockwood26. I was considering this mod to my unit but I wanted to wait and see how much battery life I get with the two 6 volt Trojan batteries. I have moved my spare to under the frame at the rear so we can store our bikes in the front compartment
