Flexco 3 step issue

My top pipe on our stairs has bent to the point the stairs are binding when trying to put in. Thinking of changing out to a piece of solid cold roll steel. Anyone else having this issue or am I the only overweight guy with this.

Photos?? Trying to see the top pipe and I just can't picture it. Have you changed out the Aluminum Rivets yet on the steps?

If you decide to change steps..Take a hard look at the Torq Lift Glo-Steps. They are expensive but have a lifetime warranty and are the best I have ever seen. I removed mine from my last trailer and as soon as I get the time will be swapping them out for the 4 unit steps on my new Cedar Creek.

Seems like a perfect time to change steps. The Torklift Glowstep Revolution steps are AWESOME. Price-wise, they really aren't all that more expensive once you start adding in the cost of step stabilizers (which was a must if I was switching to 4-step steps).

Here's my review on them:

Here is a few photos of the old. Also a pic of the new solid steel. Just need to spot weld and paint up. The old tube is very light to hold the constant weight of people going up and down. I'm not a light weight at 230 lbs but I would think it should withstand that. This is our first season in this unit. 33RL.
