Pockets - you also need to stay away from RV dealers when you need parts. They are known carriers of Camperitus Gigantus.

Agreed D B. I can't help that though, I'm still under warrantee and have been in and out several times for this and that. The DW puts blinders on me before I exit the cab hehe

Epidemic

Fortunately or unfortunately, my DW has it as bad as I do. She would quickly trade in my 2 year-old GMC Sierra (my Baby) and the 1 year-old WJ for a new 40' 5th wheel and 2500 diesel. We religiously have to take our meds (pay the current loan payments) so we don't succumb to this disease.

We are good. DW loves the truck but won't drive it because it is a behemoth compared to the Freestar van and she loves the trailer compared to the 99 Coleman PUP we had previously. And as I said, the bathroom is the size of most ensuites which she also loves. So we are good for another year or too. Anything bigger and I will need another TV.

I see where Cedar Creek came out with a new camper, a 34RE. I like the looks. If I decide to get one I would like to order one that way I can get the options I want. I think I would rather have a rv frig instead of a electric one and dual pane windows. You think I could one without a TV? DW and me just do not like Jensen.

While in WA a couple of weeks ago we went to look at the 2016 CC 38FL6. Ugh, I really wish I hadn't. Now I neeeeeed (not just want) the new model. Especially at the price they were offering it for (below$70,000 - loaded). Even with the poor exchange rate for the Cnd $ I would have still come out on top and cheaper than buying it north of the border. My current CC is less than 18 months old but this new one trumps it by miles. DW even approved!
Then reality kicked me and we had to move back north. While we looked though, the wind got up to a gale force and I actually thought it would have been a blessing for a tree to crash down on mine and then buy a new one through the insurance. Alas, that didn't happen and all we got was a small nick on the edge of the roof from a falling branch that I fixed

Condition has worsened

While we have been monitoring our Newfifthitis disease pretty well recently, the DW and I both had a severe relapse at the Dallas RV show on Sunday. We can be blamed for putting ourselves at risk, but we wanted to just "look" at the new front living 5th wheels they offered. We fell in love with a couple of them as they have very nice division of living space and a couple even had a 1/2 bath when the Master bath was in the rear of the unit. The one that really caught our eye was the Montana 3971RD with a rear den. (Yes, I realize it isn't a FR product, but wow!) This unit has the conventional front bedroom with an enormous amount of lower storage and then the rear den is actually a couple of steps up to the beautiful media den. It has more storage under this rear den! Now we just have to win the lottery, upgrade the TV to a 3/4 ton, and run down to order one so we can be cured!
Probably a temporary fix, but should be good for a few years anyway.

Me and DW found a new 36CKTS that we both liked and I got all excited but in a few days the excitement wore off. My payment would go up, that's not good. I want to put in a 55in tv in the entertainment center and for that I think I'll have to build that. I plan to take out the couch and put the new entertainment center there. Where the tv is now I plan to put in more cabinets in that space. There is only two of us so we don't need a couch and no one ever spends the night with us so we don't need a extra bed. With doing all this work on camper I hope I can get over this disease
