Getting Ready For First....

Getting ready for our first summer outting, trip North, Maine and etc we do each year about this time until sometime in Sept and as always little things like
1 Check tires
2 Hit head on slide out
3 Replace hot water anid
4 Get wet forgOting to daren water heater (cold water only for preasure test)
5 Clean and lub slide rails
6 Hit head again on slide
7 Check for leaks everywhere
8 Hit head on cross member beside holding tank
9 Check TV and Sat connections
10 Hit head on access door
11 Do a couple walk arounds
12 Hit head on 5th wheel hitch
13 Jack unit up and check wheel bearings
14 Hit head on slide again
15 Get on top and insure eveyrthing ok
16 Almost fall off stepping back to ladder
17 Hit head on Bedroom slide out (forgot my rubber booths on edges)
18 Now I think I got everything done time for one more walk around
#$#$%$% %$#$@# %$#^%$# ^%$%$ ^%$%^ 5th wheel hitch and bedroom slides HIT HEAD AGAIN...

Sorry to hear about your sore noggin. Been there a few times, only drew blood once.

Just passed through Bangor last week on our way more north. Beautiful weather, great chowdah. The Weathervane has a Thurs. special: Twin one pounders with the full dinner plate for $14.95. Yum!

Assuming you have a Creek, Lippert does not recommend lubricating the slide, just cleaning. Hope this saves you one head banging.

Hopefully no damage to slides, hitch etc. Sorry about that, we've all been there and done that.

Yes have Creek, 36RE and was told the same thing what I should have said was checking them to insure they where clear of any thing. I do spray a little lithem on them about once year just to insure everything is ok. Never had a problem with my slides in fact very few problems with creek except the power inverter went out got it replaced. We eat at the WeatherVane some, we go all the way up most of the time, my wife is from Fort Kent area a place called Wallagrass and we stay in South Thomasville alot at Lobster Buey Campground, right on the water great little campground
