Help fixing vent lid

Ok so I found another low branch and managed to break a vent lid and ac shroud.
Right now my biggest concern is replacing the vent lid. I can't figure out how it gets replaced as the lever doesn't seem able to connect to the new lid.

Had the same problem once. Got to get the cover that is made by the brand of the fan
Some make them several ways I found out. They did send them to me for the shipping .

So is the little white plastic piece on the arm part of the other lid or does that slide in to the new lid. I guess I assumed it part of the old lid until I started examining the pics better

The off white wheel needs to fit into the bracket on the lid.

Well the lid operates but the fan says nope

If I were you I would get a whole unit I just put one of the remote control units with the rain sensor under $200 works great fan works both ways intake and out take can also runfan with lid closed like a ceiling fan

There are a couple different styles of lids, verify you have the correct one.
