Can't get ours to work either. 2020 Hathaway 34IK. It was working just fine and I went through the door control pad and attempted, and apparently succeeded in, shutting it off until we got to our destination. Now no matter which way I set the door control it will not produce any ice. The manual say to use the "ice maker controls" to turn it on and off but doesn't address if light on equals ice maker on or off or vice versa. Tried both ways. No ice.

Have you pushed the push/pull valve in the line behind the driver side trailer tires?

Question Ice Maker in new 2020 Cedar Creek Silverback Not

I'm having problems getting my first batch of ice too. I did finally find the push/pull valve and it was closed. I've pushed it open. I am hooked up to my home water. For some reason, I'm not getting water into the tray. I've pushed the Make Ice button on the front panel and it is lit. Frozen food is staying frozen. I have a call out to my contact at Chesaco. I've read the manual. I'm open to suggestions short of pulling out the fridge. That'll be up to Chesaco to handle that one.

Good luck with Chesaco. I found them to be useless.

I did discover that, sometimes, when you disconnect water before shutting ice maker off, any residual water in the ice maker will freeze the water line shut. You either have to unthaw it with a hair dryer or wait til it goes thru a defrost cycle to thaw the line.
Mine is making ice now but only when I remember that little detail.

Took delivery of our 34IK in May and also have not been able to get our ice maker to work. The valve (Flow Tite) under the driver side slide is in the open position but cannot be "pulled" to the closed position. Had three other "handy" campers try and none of us go move valve. Did find a crimp in the water line but that did not address problem. Took to dealer for pre-planned warranty work and they also could not move valve to off position so they also think it is defective. They are to diagnose, repair and "make ice" before we pick it up this Friday. Will post again when I know more.

Our 2018 Sandpiper has the residential fridge and we have to take the drawer out from under the oven and the valve is under there. We liked to have never found it.

We have ice! We picked up from servicing dealer 2 days ago and hooked it up to water at our house and we now have a full bin. Dealer claims that the water valve was in the "closed" position and that it's a hard push to open. I, along with four others (MikeRP included), looked and played with the valve and thought it was already in the open position. I have opened and closed the valve since we picked it up and it does take effort which may be because it is new. It's a mystery.....
