I have a BD 3 and it definetly reduces the stress on the frame. Works great but expensive.

I have a Cedar Creek 32RL and pull it with a 2012 Silverado 3500 SRW and I use a B&W Companion. It works for me but that's just my opinion.

I have a 2015 GMC 3500 SRW standard bed. Pulling a brand new (2017 model) 36 CKTS. I am using the B&W Companion with no problems.
