Hot water not heating

A fellow FR with cedar creek silver back stored his 2015 29RE for the last two weeks and didn't turn of the hot water furnace switch below it. He thought he burned out the hot water element so he replaced it and it is still not heating up his water. What else could be the issue?? Help, his wife doesn't like cold showers.

Is this an electric water heater only or does it use gas as well?

Model number of the water heater?

It should be on the front of the water heater, does the gas side work?

If it does use it till you get the electric side working.

For gas side, need to turn on from inside and requires 12V for igniter. Need a generator or shore line with enough amperage for electric side.
