Now the bottom track is another story....what a PITA!

Maybe wrap scrub pad around a butter knife with your favorite bathroom cleaner to get in between the door panels.
x2. We do the same at home. It keeps the lime in the water from etching the glass and keeps the glass looking clear and new without any mold either.

Mine won't lift out but I'm afraid if they did- they might bounce out on rough
road and fall to the floor which would undoubtedly break them. Our shower
is in the back which is the roughest ride in the trailer.

The idea to remove the remaining tiny lip at the drain slots is a great one.
Also a stiff parts cleaning brush sounds like a good idea. I'll be on the
lookout for one of those.
We've found the daily use spray on shower cleaner slows the build up but
doesn't stop it and cleaning is still necessary every so often.

One of the things that sold us on our rig is the big shower so tips on how
to keep it clean are much appreciated!

Happy Trails!

Way tooooo much

Too much is being made of cleaning these slide tracks. Just get Clorax or similar wipes in those kitchen friendly containers and use a tool, such as a butter knife, as described by other posters. Wrap that wipe around anything that fits in the track and "move it" to sanitize and clean.

I have had 5ers in my past with sliders and have same at home and NEVER removed any doors, period.

Let it go....Let it go...Let it go...ooo 🎈🎈🎈

First and foremost, I let the DH take his shower first - then I take mine because I will squeegee everything, then hang up bathmat & towels. But those dreaded rails on the bottom are a PITA!! DH drilled more holes on the inside to let more water out, it's better, but still not great. But thanks for all the ideas, I was hoping one day this would be a topic of conversation

Actually, I do have a post of my bottom track as I was sealing leaks: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...tml#post603764

Here's the glass handle that kept coming off until I figured out the secret sauce for keeping it on the glass: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...tml#post614192
I want to know how you managed to keep the door handle ON. Every time we pull our 38CK the handles come off. Our handles have a rubbery grip like thing that goes between the shower door and handle. It works okay when we are sitting still but not when we are on the road. Out of exasperation I left one off but we have to use the other. I was thinking maybe a silicone adhesive or caulk may help but am not sure.

On the doors and surround we spray daily shower spray and it seems to help keep the shower clean longer between deep cleanings but our shower doors still show streaks and HW marks despite squeegee and spray. I was wondering if a magic eraser would work to get rid of those streaks. I've already tried white vinegar. All that happened was making the inside of the fifth wheel smell like pickles. 😫

Best adhesive I know for applications like attaching shower door handles is Goop. I do use Mr Clean erasers on glass (like the shower doors) and on items like the shower tracks (anodized aluminum, I think).

The shower curtain idea is great and works wonderfully! I used a shower tension rod inside the doors and an inexpensive shower curtain that you can always replace easily when needed. It is long enough that it keeps water out of the tracks too! I squeegee and wipe down the walls and leave the shower curtain open to dry. So much easier than trying to clean between those sliding glass doors! And a lot less time consuming too!

Sorry folks but I worked a lot of years to get a trailer like this and I enjoy the looks and luxury of it. So I will shower in it and keep it clean the best I can, but I am not gonna remove the panels or even hang a dang shower curtain in it. If I wanted to look at a shower curtain I would have bought a $3000 trailer.....

I agree you! We bought the trailer to use nor for show. I say use it, clean it and don't worry if it's not perfect.
But DW is a little OCD about these things so we have a shower curtain!

We take a Paint Mixing stick and wrap a single layer of a towel over the end and swipe the end down the track. Works pretty good.

For the shower door handle... I used 2 sided rubber tape. I think it was 3D. Has not come loose in over year and a half.

We use a good car wax on our showers. Our house showers still look brand new. Wax them 2-3 times a year. Easier to keep looking like new.

We just squeegee and spray shower clean on the walls and exposed parts of the door but that doesn't work between the panes on the triple pane sliding doors in the Cedar Creeks. The glass panes overlap so you can't get between them to clean or wax the glass.

Soft water really helps,,, @ home I use Daily Shower Cleaner !!!
If you are going to use wax,,, do not use an abrasive one !!!

That's a good option. I was considering using the double sided Command tape things.
