The only thing I wish the factory would change is making the stair treads wood, instead of carpet. That is my last winter mod to make this year. I am going to buy oak stair treads at Lowe's and replace the carpet with wood.
Regarding...stair treads wood, instead of carpet.
Why? I do not understand. Is it slippery?

I'm not sure if the corian would be more slippery then wood I have thought about it, the woods not really slippery. 8 months of full timing with a family that's the only place i see wear and its faint but I know I going to be needing to do something there sometime down the road. I think that's what separates the CC from other trailers. That it has held up great to a full timing family.
