I Bought a 2014 37BH $50K+ Silverback water wick!!!

The title says it all. I have not even used my new coach once however we were to depart to Disneyworld June 27th for 38 days and my PS of SB is flooded with water from the outside kitchen!!!

I am so pissed its not even funny.... The funny part Cedar Creek has a wonderful video showing how they quality test their units for water leaks. Pound sand!!!! So now I have an exterior and interior walls soaked plus all the insulation in the floor is wet so I get to own a mold incubator, wood swollen piece of expensive Silverback trailer... This is all I needed 8 days before I go on vacation......

Rant is over..

First, lots of fans with the doors and windows open. Dry it out, it isn't an instant mold case.

Second, turn it where the wet wall can face the sun. The heat will dry it out pretty well.

Call the dealer, it could get fixed quickly.

Any idea where the water is coming from? Broke line, leaky faucet?

When you initially turn on the water did you not listen to hear if the flow stopped?
I do everytime I turn on the water no matter what just in case for instances like this.

The water came in from rain and not from me using the sinks etc. I have started drying it out this morning and my dealer was informed of the issues.

Just curious how that much rain water got in from the outdoor kitchen? Same set up we have, just yours isn't in a slideout.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

Any way you can hook up to shore power? A/C units are also dehumidifiers.

I can't even say "I feel your pain" as we've never gone thru this, but...

I hope the issue is resolved quickly and this time next month you're out enjoying your RV. Stay in close contact with your dealer during the fix. Communicate and document, (take pictures!) rinse and repeat.

I'll refraise this a a good habit to get into.
Ps maybe I'm paraniod but I usually shut water suppy off when ever we drive away from our campsite. Saw what can happen to neighbouring camper.

Had something similar happen on my previous 5 er, 2011, purchased new , Keystone Outback Sydney. Mine leaked water inside on the floors and under the cabinets from every place a screw was used . After 3 times, figured it out, re sealed the heck out of everything in there and was good to go . Do as suggested regarding drying. It will help. However, have whatever was soaked up like a sponge replaced. Once cured, you can schedule major repairs when you return from Disney. Aggravating , yes! But no one was injured and they can fix it like new . Don't stress yourself to the point of being ill and ruining your trip!
Your RV is only a THING. Worst case, sell or trade it and move on and never look back. BTW, the 33 rl is great, BUT, i miss my outside kitchen, issues and all.
CAN'T WIN THEM ALL. This too shall pass.
While heading to Disney, the Keystone, which was traded, waiting for the Silverback build, blew a tire on the FL Turnpike 70 miles from Disney. $3200 damage; my share $1300. We were fortunate not to lose control. If you do not have a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, buy one . I did and would go no place without it. End of story!!
We will be at Disney in CW over Christmas. Already booked !! Enjoy!

Hope your repairs go well and enjoy Disney World and the Fort, we check in June 26th for 10 days, hope to be in the 800 loop, look for a Cedar Creek with a Smart car parked in front( truck will probably be in the overflow lot) and stop by and say Hi.

We don't get to the Fort until July 7th, I am not sure where they are putting us either but just look for a red dodge 1 ton and 4 kids and that will be us. LOL I am almost thinking of getting a new truck for the trip but I will see. Still no word from the dealer but I will be calling Monday at noon to get the verdict.

Update, dealer has fixed the water leak and it was from the outside kitchen. I guess they sealed up more stuff not sure where but I don't really care because I am leaving Friday on our 6k mile trip!! I cant wait to hit the road even though the 4 kids will be in close contact while we drive for 5 days straight. Minard's Leisure World, my dealer has been wonderful to deal with getting the trailer fixed so fast so I am going to buy the service team lunch (pizza) on Friday.

This is going to be a great trip.

Later days
