Installing washer/dryer

My washer/dryer comes in tomorrow and I'll to get to work installing the stacked unit, $1457 delivered. My Trav'ler comes in tomorrow, it was $1488 delivered. So I have my work cut out for me, speaking of cutout . I have to cut hole in camper, I dread that. I put some new shelves in camper, I glued them in, I hope they stay in Click image for larger version

I installed the washer/dryer in my 32RL and I wonder why Cedar Creek would put a stud in the way of putting in the vent. That was stupid, we had to cut out the aluminum stud.

My 31RK had a sticker showing where to drill. I drilled a 1/4 hole then put a bent coat hanger wire in to check for clearance. No problems

No sticker for my Cedar Creek, I don't think Cedar Creek intended to install a washer/dryer in that closet. There was no way to put a vent in that space not unless you cut out the stud

I got to thinking last night and the way Cedar Creek rv's are glued together I don't think it really matters if you have to take out a stud to get the vent in. The hole that I cut out was so glued together that the stud was not holding the side walls together. I can hear the wind hitting the vent and I'm going to have to do something about that, it's loud

In my Wildcat I had to put the vent thru the closet floor. This is where Wildcat told me to locate it.
