Interesting how the 2015's are now starting to fade. I called the factory and asked if they would cover fading as i wanted to buy one. They told me that there is a new gelcoat being used starting with the 2015 models and it isn't suppose to fade. Almost had me but I decided to wait. Looks like the "no more fading" theory is out the window. If they start offering painted caps without going to a full body paint or Champagne model, I'm in..otherwise, no sale.

My 32RL is a 2015, it was built in June of 2014. Anyway it was sold as a 15 year model. I want a 36CKTS, that's what I would like to get eventually but the front cap fading is a problem and not being able to get a tire option. I don't like ST tires. I have now had two different year models that faded, makes you wonder. It wouldn't be so bad but Cedar Creek brags on the clear coat and how great the camper will look in years to come. I waxed the first camper and I thought that might have something to do with camper fading but this camper has not been waxed. I'm going to wax it next week, not the front cap

I was told the newest 2017s will be out in mid July. All of them will now have a painted front cap..however the rear caps will still be gel-coat. Anxious to see them along with some new floor plans...

Yep, CC told me the same thing a few weeks ago so yesterday I contacted them again to get the details on other 2017 changes and I should have an email on Monday with the new stuff.
I probably posted most of this earlier in this thread but we all know the early fading is unsat and CC knows that too.

The front cap of our 2015 38CK is fading. I've emailed Cedar Creek and though they've been quick to respond to ask additional questions they have not emailed back about a possible remedy. Our less than a year old fifth wheel looks OLD. Not happy with FR at this point though I still love the inside.

How do I post a photo?

Just finished winterizing our 2014 38ck and both the front and back caps are fading and look like they are 100 years old . Just sent an email to see if they will fix the problem . With all the units they have sold and that have had this problem you would think they would contact owners that bought them new and help with the problems they know they have . You would think they would want to keep people coming back to purchase new units but with problems like this makes you want to go else where , we have a lot of friends with many different rigs that have not had this problem and makes you wonder because most caps are purchased from the same company .

If you are the original owner you have a reasonably good chance of getting your rig fixed. We are the second owner of a 2015 CC 38 CK. All I've gotten are emails saying sorry we only help original owners. Peeves me because the VIN number reflects that this unit was built last year. So in my opinion it shouldn't matter what owner we are. A front cap should NOT fade in a year's time regardless of owner!
