just bought 2011 31b2

Just bought a used 2011 31b and have a question about the 2 black tanks. I have a valve next to and under the back door and a flush connection next to the back door. To empty the back black tank do I need both black tank valves open? That also goes for flushing the back black tank. Do I need both valves open.
I've never had a 5th wheel with so many tanks.
Thank you.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the Cedar Creek family.

I don't have your model, but have had 2 baths before. You probably have 2 black, 2 gray tanks. One black for the front toilet, one for the rear. So you will need to dump 4 tanks (one valve for each).

Not sure about the tank clean out if it hooks to both or just one someone else with the same unit I am sure will chime in with help.

Welcome again!

I have a 2012 Silverback 31B. You have two separate black tanks with two separate flushers. So only one valve open for each when flushing/dumping. I also learned this one the hard way. Also fair warning if rig is not level or nose down a little the line will not empty properly and leave you a surprise the next time you pull the cap to hook up sewer. Also learned the hard way.

i too have a 2011 31b2. you have to have the rear black tank valve open and the valve right by the outlet at the front. you do not need the black tank valve in the storage bay open. we love our unit. hope i can help with any more questions.
