key blanks...where to buy..?

Hey All

I searched the forum but could not find anything on a place to buy key blanks from...?

I asked the dealership where I bought the Cedar Creek 36RE but they do not have any in stock and are not getting any soon. I have one silver key for the locks on the silver/plain cylinders on the outside, I have a black round key for the slam latch doors and then the square key for the door.

Anyone have a link or place to buy blanks from......oh I am in Canada eh..!

To get my front door the same key as the back, I ordered a lock from these guys;

I just had to tell them the code I needed. They may have keys already cut for the code you need or blanks.

Looks like they have the "F" code keys and "G" code keys...

I checked every local place I could, HD, Menards, even the good ol corner Ace Hardware. Nobody had a blank so our dealer ordered me one. Took about 2 weeks and cost $2.50. Ace did cut it for me though. Curious why dealers don't have the blanks in stock as most people like having a spare set of keys.

any rv dealer should have them as there are only a few different "cuts" dealer told me the onle semi unique cut was the deab bolt

Just an update...my dealer was able to come up with the key for the front storage as well as a door key. I was most happy. He did not have a key or a blank for the slam latch locks so I tried the local lock smith. You might not believe this but he found a key blank that works and was able to cut me a spare set.....the blank.....it is from a Suzuki motorcycle key. I asked twice in shock but it fits and works great..!!!

Hope this information helps someone else in need.
