late year 2013 36 CKTS

Just saw a late build 2013 36 ckts and let me say, anyone who bought an early 2013 should be pissed. the late builds have arched ceilings, ducted A/C in both livingroom and bedrooms ( no more noise maker over the bed) really nice tan and gold corian countertops, a much larger couch, LED lights , blue ray player , Vizio tv and sound bar in livingroom and the list probably goes on.

A good point to remember if you're placing a build order with the factory. It's very difficult to determine what the current build details are as the manufacturer makes changes, large and small whenever the mood strikes them during the model year. They have that disclaimer that the specifications can change without notice. It takes lots of phone calls with the dealer's sales rep and the factory rep to figure it out.

You may not view all the changes as favorable.

Very good point Dave. When we placed our order (albeit we got a Crusader not a CK) I had numerous contacts with the factory to get info on current build specs/components. Even with all that communications there was still a surprise with a new back splash. In our case this was a welcomed addition but I could see where others may have liked the previous.

X2 on surprise changes...We ordered our 2013 unit that was built in early September.
When the unit arrived to our Dealer, he called us and was surprised himself with the changes (we're glad we got them):

Tan/brown corian counters vs grey color
Battery disconnect
All led interior lighting
New residential style woodwork cabinets
New stylish exterior decals
Black enclosed channel bike rack vs matte grey, open channels
Etc, etc....

Also on the 2013, CC is putting on a 18,000 lb pin box.(was 15,500 lb) And the GVWR is also about 1000 lb higher.

Most of the changes were displayed on models shown at the Pennsylvania RV Show last September. The new Pearl Edition Package with Beige front and rear caps and new graphics makes for a really sharp fifth wheel. I hope they add keyless entry to future models. Sometimes you can see 2013 Cedar Creeks with the Pearl package for sale on Ebay.
