Level up jack leaking?

I notice hydraulic fluid leaking onto the LU jack pad the other day.
It only leaks when the jacks are down.
Has anyone tried to have A jack rebuilt, seals replaced?
Looking for A possible fix other than A $500.00 jack from Lippert.

This is on A 2013 CC 38FL

Well being stubborn, As I am. I think I'll stop by the hydraulic shop tomorrow and see what they say.
Shoot i'd rather give it A try then to buy A new one then find out it could have been fixed for maybe half the price.

Good luck be interesting to see if a 25 cent piece of plastic can fix the issue!
If not and to make you feel better it was an 800.00 bill here for a new leg plus needed to have an RV tech. come to us as it was a front jack and couldn't get high enough to hook up... :-(
Take care!

All it would take the hyd shop to find the packing. I ran a Ponsse logging operation and it was Finland made but found parts in the states or Internet if needed to be.

I'd be surprised if a hydraulic shop couldn't fix it.

Check the O ring

Had leak in Level Up system. Turned out to be a split O ring where the hydraulic line attaches to the jack. Might want to check that out first.

Hydraulic shop says they have and can reseal these jacks. Turnaround for them is 2 weeks.
So I am going to remove 2 qts of the thin weight fluid. Then replace it with 15 weight fork oil, till we get back from A trip we are going on next week.
Then I will pull the jack and have it resealed.

UPDATE

Just an update to this leak.
I ordered some Maxim #15 fork oil. Drained 2 qts of the watered down Hydraulic fluid that was in te system. Refilled with the Maxim and ran the slides and level Up many times. I allowed the Camper to sit with all hydraulics pressured between each cycle.

So far not A drop of fluid is showing to leak from the jack that was leaking.

Last year when this jack leaked it was the same time of the year with temps in the 90s.
I am starting to think that temp has something to do with the leak on this jack.

When I say watered down Hyd fliud, I mean super light viscosity. when compared to brake fluid it is about the same fluid viscosity.

I will take the jack of and have it resealed. Due to the fact that it leaked twice.

But This stuff of Lippert stateing the jacks arent rebuildable is crap.
Its ashame that the RV industry has the attitude that nothing is fixable by A owner.
I guess it works for them with A lot of owners.
But the fact is that there is really nothing on these units that cant be fixed by owners that are mechanicly inclined, or by A regular repair shop. For A lot less money if you have to pay someone to do it for you.

Rant over.
Thanks for the replies to this thread Guys.

Kirk

PS
The slides even work smoother with some good Hydraulic fluid in the system.

I also had a seeping jack, front left. also had pinging when the trailer was leaded against. Replaced 2 quarts of hyd oil with motorcycle fork oil and the problem resolved.
