Light Switch Installation?

It bugs me that the only room in our 'five-room' 5'r we have that does not have a light switch on the wall is the master bedroom.
Therefore, I would like to add one.
Has anyone ever added a light switch to a room with two existing lights?
I've scoured this forum but haven't found anything that helps or with pictures!
I'd prefer to run wires up the interior wall to the lights, but am unsure what the wall-to-ceiling route will look like inside the walls, etc...

Why not go wireless? A little pricey, but works great. Did it on my 08 Flagstaff.

Interior wall is not open on the top, it has a top plate.

Darn -- was hoping this was going to be 'easier'.
There are two light fixtures, so would need two wireless set-ups I assume...getting pricey already!

Wire both light fixtures together and use one switch.
