Lights Gone

We picked up our 2015 CC 36CKTS about 3 weeks ago. Loaded it up and headed out. Been in it for 10 days now and already 5 interior lights burnt out. Anyone know the phone number for CC Warranty . If they would just send them to me I will replace .

Sounds more like a faulty wiring issue to me...would be very unusual to have 5 lights go out so quick...are they LED's? Take a couple fixtures down and inspect the wiring, many people have reported finding loose wires on their fixtures.

There appears to be 5 lights on each light panel. On several they are down to 2 or three left working. One all are out. On three the lights are falling down on the cover and melting the cover. My terminology is probably wrong but hopefully you get the idea

I would go back to the dealer this is an electrical issue and this should be fixed by them. I know a lot of people on this and other forums are capable to do the work but it is still under warranty and is only a couple of weeks old. Why screw with the warranty and cause other warranty issue down the road if this is not fixed by the dealer.

Just my very humble opinion!

Guaranteed to be incandescent and likely a 921 bulb. Your problem isn't a new one, and some of the newer fixtures ARE REALLY BADLY designed! Call your dealer, send some pictures, get them to send some replacement lenses at least. Swap the bulbs to LEDS or a lower wattage 921-style. Sounds like you keep lights on for an extended period. If you have a multimeter, see what voltage you're getting at one of the sockets. You're probably a little on the upper end.

I recall seeing comments from others on this, ( try a search) and they were replaced by dealer. This is a simple fix. If you are handy, ask the dealer to send you replacements, if not ask dealer to order replacements, and call you once they are in received. Should take dealer 10-15 mins per fixture max to replace.

If the pics upload up will see where it burnt the covers. There are 6 lite diodes on each board. Some are 1 out some 2 some 3 out and 1 is all out.

I have the same LED puck lights. On mine the inner rim has a plastic piece in two opposing corners to hold the LED board in place. Hard to tell if yours somehow fell out or were installed incorrectly. None of mine have fallen out of the holders. I do have one that is burnt out over the microwave. These are supposed to be lifetime warrantied. The new Forest River website has numbers listed for each product line. You might want to check there for the Cedar Creek warranty department. Or have them fixed at Goshen rally.

On the ones that have that have burnt the plastic cover that was the problem. Didn't see a plastic ring just looks as though they snap in. I have three that dropped and burned the covers the others the light diodes just went out.

The burn spots are the drive circuits for the LEDs. These do get warm. but should not burn as yours have. It looks like a bad batch of drive components. I suggest you have replace everyone even if still working normally.

I touched one and it was hot. The reason I think it burned the covers is they were resting down on the covers. Apparently they were not installed correctly.

You can contact Jeff Holmes at CC for warranty issues. He posts here from time to time, and has always been very responsive.
