We installed a Tiffany lamp that I converted to a hanging lamp. which hangs below the storage cabinets above the rear picture window. I noticed that it would swing when pulling the 5er. To keep the lamp steady when in motion I used a stretchy net that has hooks along the outer edge the Tiffany Stained glass is in the middle and the net is stretched out tightly to hold it steady and hooked to cabinet handles and some small coffee cup hooks behind the lamp. It works well and when we get where we are going take the net down. You probably could use this method for your lights.

Kinda reminded me of this from a UK tv show (only Fools and Horses) back in the 80's.

I have to say the units in my coach seem fine, could swing but don't and as far as hitting my head on them i would really have to work at that.
I will look at them again but since 2010 are doing fine not to worried
Happy Camping to all

If you liked that, there are lots more of those nuggets on You Tube. This is another of my favorites.

2016 FR CC SB 33IK: Same issue on first drive home. Cheap pot metal stripped screw in threads on the light fixture allowing it to hang by the wiring and sway into other fixture. Broke globe and glass mess in carpet. Heading in for warranty work next Saturday. Also, Furnace will not light. So much for "Dealer Prep".....
