yep, on the ground, well, front jacks completely retracted and the nose is well below level. The arrows on the outside controller won't raise it back up, but I do have a green light out there.

I briefly looked at the MyWifi and scrolled to the manual mode, but decided I needed to do some reading first. The manual isn't so informative

The Level Up system is programmed on auto-level to drop the nose down below level. (If something like a truck is in the way, it will hit it). It then brings the nose slowly back to level and then adjusts the other legs/pads down until the RV is level. Sometimes if the ground is not level, with nose high, It will not drop down the nose far enough and locks out. You have to go into manual mode to bring the front end back up, extend the front legs. I have the old style Auto-level and can't explain how to go into manual mode on the new system. Someone did post the instruction manual in a thread a while back. Good Luck.

Million, I think this might be a simple fix. I powered up the inside unit. Scroll down to Manuel mode. A round circle comes up with "front" highlighted which I think front jacks are already selected. On left is up/down arrows. At this point I think all you have to select for jacks to extend. Good luck.

Thanks SnP. My problem my be that it is parked very slightly with the nose uphill and I placed a thin block under each of the two front jacks to protect my ashpalt. The front may not be able to drop as low as it needs to, although the nose is well below level. It done it once and I just raised the front legs back up above hitch height (nose above level) and then hit the auto level the second time, that's when it wouldn't let me manually extent the front legs.

Thanks CumminZ, I'll give that a go in the morning. It was 20 degrees when I picked the rig up this morning, so I probably didn't take as much time on my walk through as I should have. Although, I'll say, very pleased with it.

Auto level doesn't function if the nose starts low.
Here's some reading that might help.

One other thing to all. I noticed just now that my inside coach controller beside the on/off switch is a fine hole in it marked "reset".

Just a newbie issue. I parked it on a spot not level enough, the nose was pointing up hill. When the front jacks couldn't drop low enough to establish auto level it kicked auto level off and gave me the proper code on the panel. Then, as I tried to manually do it, I kicked the breakers on the hydraulics. My breakers are under the front compartment and on the side of the bar with long copper strips. Two small buttons that were not easy for me to see. The dealer service guy took me straight to it. Reset the breakers, pulled it to a more level spot, hit the auto level and jackpot. Good learning experience. Thanks guys for all of the tips.

are you saying the Auto Level will not work unless you are parked on a level surface? I have seen it work on unlevel spots lifting the wheels off the ground to get itself level.

It was more unlevel that I thought it was. I re-parked it in the same spot and didn't put pads under the front jacks this time and it auto leveled in that spot this time. The back is probably two feet higher than the front and driver side rear tire did lift slightly off the ground. It seems to auto level in pretty unlevel spots. More of a learning issue on my part

One little bit of advice that I just learned...your batteries must be charged up or it plays havoc with the level up. My converter was not fully charging my batteries and have had trouble with the level up since day one....went to Quartzite and Phil the electric genius traced the problem to the converter....new converter and charged batteries and it has worked fantastic with no problems so far.....

After I reset the breakers, everything worked fine. I set it up several times from both the inside and outside control panels. In general, I suspect I'll use the outside panel most of the time. I'm set to roll south next week, so I'm trying to put myself through all of the paces. Newbie in all regards .... this is my first RV, so I suspect I may be needing additional help ......

I would pull my rig away if l were you. They always nose dive then come back up on Auto. If you scroll up to manual then you can avoid that by doing it yourself. Never have you truck under when using auto you will screw it up!
