Lippert TV lift died

Hello!

After using for about 2 1/2 years without incident, the Lippert TV lift in our 2011 CC 36RE failed, leaving the tv stuck behind the fireplace. It is apparent that there is no power getting to the motor; the switch appears to be OK and I've tried replacing the inline fuse/circuit breaker. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you end up doing? Did you replace the TV lift with another brand? Which one? Are you satisfied?

Thanks SO much!

Jerry

Hey
Little late but the motor that lifts the TV up and down is nothing more than a power window motor from a car. If you can get to it take it to your local NAPA or parts store....they should be able to match it up for you..!

Replaced a few power window motors in other vehicles. I believe a window motor from a GMC or Chevy will work. After market maybe do the the same and guess what, it's already 12volt..!

Great info. We have the power lift for TV in our 2013 CKTS. No problem yet but I'll definitely keep this info in my repair notebook. Thanks for sharing.
