I almost guarantee that you will be over on payload by the time you load up, but not on anything else. Only way to be sure is to weigh it. The 9200 payload on my 2007 is very low compared to ALL the other specs. I am way under on everything BUT the payload. I don't know about the 2009 tho.

In reality, that is not a very hazardous spec to exceed compared to the others, and is mostly based (if it is based on anything) on handling and braking. I have no problem with towing what I got and I had a close to 14K rig before this one and had no problem that that one either. Feels better to have under 10K behind me, tho.

Our 34RLSA has a Pin weight of 2,950.

Loaded for camping the total trailer weight is 13,050.

Trailer Cargo: 1,155 (13,050 - 11,895 Dry Weight)

We have a Reese 16K slider... without the slider we would not be able to achieve a 90 degree turning radius with the truck in our sig.

2950 will almost certainly exceed the payload and maybe the rear axle also. Wowzer.

I pull my 2014 C 34 RLSA with a Silverado 2500 HD, Firestone air bags with 18 psi. Pulls great. Pin may be a little over but certainly not enough to buy a new truck.

Thanks all so far for the replies!

Ret2006, please advise what your box is in your truck?

Our plan is (I think...) make them an offer this week, try it out this year and before we had out FT for a few years and by then know better what kind and size truck to buy...
