Looking for a part number.

Hi all,
Our 2013 CC ckts. is leaking a front hydraulic landing / leveling cylinder out of the bottom seal.
Would anyone know the Lippert part # for a seal kit if one is available.
Has anyone else had this happen to them.
Our dealer replaced a leaking leveling cylinder by our entrance door under warranty. But our warranty is over.

Thanks Rich,

Hi,
Try looking at the Lippert store here. Hydraulic Fittings & Valves for LCI Fifth Wheel and Motorhome Leveling Systems

Ps. If you can not find your part, email them directly because they do sell direct to consumers.

If you are able to get a repair kit, Please post the info. I would like to get one to keep on the RV we have had two leak. Both were replaced, but if we are out and on the move it would be nice to be able to do a repair.

After a closer look tonite and browsing LCI's web site it looks like the front jacks are part #236560. Also the whole length of both front jacks are covered with a lite coat of oil , from top top to bottom.
The entry door side is wetter with black spec's on the ram .
I haven't found a replacement seal kit online, but a new cylinder is anywhere from
$322.00 to $522.00, yikes....
I can't find any info on LCI's website about the warranty on these.
If anyone could add any info , it would be appreciated.
Also after I call them Monday, I'll post any info on here.
Maybe a private shop that rebuilds hydraulic cylinders would be cheaper than new.
Any Ideas around Ocean County NJ on such a place ?.
Thanks Rich.

Many companies including Lippert are pretty proprietary about most of their products. It may be a stretch getting just a cylinder kit out of them. Number one ... they wouldn't make near as much money on a seal kit as they would selling cylinders. I'd imagine someone is eventually going to have to pull the seals out of a cylinder and get them cross referenced for availability. I too am awaiting someone to go that route. On a side note ... you're supposed to regularly wipe your cylinder rods down with silicone and a cloth per Lippert maintenance guidelines.

update Lci don't sell seal kits to rebuild your landing jacks, but are more than happy to sell you a whole new cylinder , $$$.
So if your out of warranty your on the hook.

I talked to a FR. CC tech , and he said there was no seal kit available.
But was more than willing to transfer me to the parts dept. to purchase a new one which was over 500.00 but I didn't have the part number off mine.
I think i would go the route of my independent hydraulic cylinder repair first and see what that cost. After all to those who know and do , this isn't rocket science and FR. is losing out on a small market. Oh well ,
