Jon we went with the 3.73 looked like it would work for us. I am just happy I did not have to put the under bed frame for the hitch which cost 800 each time on the last two trucks.
You will enjoy the truck. I am impressed with the quality.

The F550 with a 6.7 is detuned and much less hp and tq than the F250-f450 pickups.

To reduce wear and extend the life of the engine so they can support their 250k med duty engine warranty.
