Looking to buy a Cedar Creek

I'm beginning my search for about a 2015+ Cedar Creek. Would like to know what should I be looking for as far as problem areas I might be on the look out for. Thank you for any input.

I have a 2014 Cedar Creek. I would check the front cap and rear cap to make sure the caps are not fading. I would make sure the slides work. I would check to make sure that everything works properly. Are you buying from a dealer or private party.

I would buy new, that way you do get a year warranty. If you buy used you can expect zero help from the factory.

Hi,

We are very pleased with our Silverback. After a few minor tune-up kinds of things and a repainted front cap under warranty, it has been a fine unit for many loog trips and months of snow birding.

FWIW

Get up on the roof and check for any damage. Also check to see that the sealant has been maintained. Make sure the slides work work as they should.

I agree with Spock123 - by new. I would do my homework on used Silverback prices......$45K seems pretty high, when 2019 Silverback's are only slightly higher - especially at a discount high volume dealer.

Join the CC RV Owners Club and you will be taken care of very well by the factory.....I know what I am talking about!

I previously owned a 2009 Silverback, and currently have a 2019 CC Hathaway because of how the factory treated us on our 2009.

Good Luck.

Also has a Bauer digital entry latch with lighted key pad.

Watch your cap that faded. My cap faded and was replaced at the factory. Now that cap has faded, the factory is paying to have the cap repainted. We have been treated very good by the factory

Cedar Creek is a separate division. My experience has been great. Looked at a lot of reviews on Keystone products and many aren't good. Buy what you like.'

CCRVOC.com is not FROG. It costs nothing to join FROG and it IS Forest River. CCRVOC costs to join and it IS NOT affiliated with Forest River. Just making sure that Kevin211 knows the difference.

I had many little issues that have all been resolved at the factory, and I am happy with the factory support I received, always helpful when needed, I am looking to sell mine as I am no longer in need of it.
