Does it look like this per chance? This is a mushroom attic vent that is on my roof. I too lost the cover but found I could buy them at local RV parts stores or on the internet from Stalkups RV.

$9 is a good price. I paid around $13 for mine. You have to buy the entire vent to get the replacement cap. The part number is 102776. I bought a spare that I keep in case I lose another and when I'm on the roof, I check the tightness of the two caps now.

If the cap screws onto that stud in the picture- I would definitely put
some glue (epoxy) on the threads when I installed the replacement.

Roof vents

I'm hoping that you are talking about the roof vents on the roof to vent the water system. I had one of mine come unglued and lost the top part of the vent cap. FR uses the RV360 Siphon vent. I called Bob Cravens (the owner of the co. And he was really great. I sent him a picture and he sent me a complete roof vent at no cost. They are Good people to work with and are intrested in us RV folks. You can look them up on the Internet.

I would pop rivet narrow alum strips to the inside of the pipe that would extend out and under the cap and then pop rivet the cap on 2 sides.
