MaxxAir Vent for Fantastic Create-a-Breeze

We have a 2010 Silverback 33L and are looking to put a Fan/Mate cover on the bathroom fan (Create-a-Breeze). Has anyone installed one on their unit?

I didn't have the measurements the last time I went up there, but my recollection is that the space between the fan vent and TV (television) antenna is quite small. I'm concerned that there won't be enough space to properly install the vent without interfering with the antenna.

Thanks for letting me know your experience!
-Keith

Have you had a chance to install it yet? Did it fit okay?

< I'm assuming you also have the 2010 33L ?? >

Thanks!

No, have not got them yet but they are all based on the std size. We got the maxx air 2 for the front and maxx air mate 750 for the back to go with our fantastic fan . We have a 2502 s.

No need - I'm still monitoring this....

No, I haven't bought the cover yet since A) just got my 5er back from the shop after the Chinese tires blew up ($3k damage), and B) it's just too hot for me to climb up there yet (I'm in Houston).

However, I will probably break down and buy the unit, and try to install it later in September. Unless someone let's me know beforehand that it doesn't fit.

I had sufficient space on my trailer.

I have installed a FanMate on my Fantastic Fan and it is very easy - 2 small holes with a drill in the aluminum frame - 1 on each side - and you can pick either side to have it open on - and then you screw the new cover's frame. Could not be easier.

I love it, works great. Well, it does not do much as it just allows air air and water is kept out - my fan cover is open all the time.

Regards,
