Mico/Convection oven

I just purchased a 2015 Cedar Creek 36CKTS. it has a Whirlpool micro/convection oven, but when I go to use the bake/oven feature, it takes for ever to preheat. Has anyone else had this problem. By the way, I'm new to this forum, but would like to say I love my Cedar Creek.

Yes they do take some time to pre heat, It is normal. We sometimes just add 10 minutes to the cook timeset the temp and just turn it on and let it go, Never had any problems this way.

I have also noticed a lot of people talking of a outside vent. I have a black vent on the kitchen side of the coach which opens up while running the micro, but I have noticed a lot of steam while baking a potato for instance.

I upgraded to the Whirlpool GOLD series micro. Takes a llllooooonnggg time to preheat. Should have saved my $$$$. You basically save 25 degrees and 25% reduction in cooking time. Should have kept my 2011 with the outside kitchen. This thing has so many features it makes it difficult to want to go outdoors!!
