Model of Cedar Creek TrailAir Air Ride Pin Box
We have a Cedar Creek on order that will have the TrailAir Air Ride Hitch Coupler installed. We need to get the Model Forest River installs.
It should be either Standard Air Ride or Tri-Glide.
The hitch we plan on using will not support the Tri-Glide so we are hoping for the Standard model.
Cannot find any contact information to ask Cedar Creek so asking owners for help. Please respond if you own a late model Cedar Creek with the TrailAir factory installed.
Thanks, we appreciate your assistance,
Jim

Since you did not specify what model you are getting, all I can say that the 36 Series has the TrailAir L-05 option and the TriGlide add on option if you specifically asked for it. Its at least a few hundred bucks more so you should know. You can call Justin Day at Cedar Creek, 260-593-2598 and ask him but your dealer should be your first point of contact.
What kind of hitch is not compatible with the TriGlide other than auto sliders?

Agree with what was said... unless you specified the Tri-Glide it would unlikely be included due to the added cost. But check your dealer and build sheets.

When I ordered my CC they would not put on a Tri-glide so I would also assume that it would be just the standard Trailair.

Sorry, the Cedar Creek ordered is 36CKTS.
We checked TrailAir Air Ride Hitch Coupler on the Options Sheet.
The price listed is $863. No mention was made about a Tri-Glide.
Thanks for all the responses. If this info changes your response please reply.
Due to the hitch we plan to use not supporting the Tri-Glide it is important that we know what we are getting. We did call Cedar Creek and could not get answer, even the Parts Dept did not know.
Thanks so much for your help,
Jim

How much difference is there between the Tri-Glide and standard Trailair?
Is it worth the extra cost?

Average - $825 for a TrailAir - $1300 for a TriGlide

What about the actual performance? How much better is the ride with the Tri-Glide?

We bought a 2013 Cedar Creek 36CKTS with the trailair hitch option. The option cost was $863 and it was just the trailair and not the triglide. It is a pretty safe bet that what you are getting is just trailair.

The folks that I know are using the TriGlide
to eliminate "chucking". If you get a lot of chucking with your hitch then you might want to spend the bucks. I do not experience chucking so no TriGlide for me.

Recently purchased a 34RLSA and specified the TrailAir Triglide, but got only the Airride. So, unless something has changed recently, you're not likely to get the Triglide if you ordered off the option sheet.

We have absolutely zero chucking. We have the TrailAir that is coupled with the Curt 20K hitch. Can't say enough about this combination.

Tri-Glide
We have a CC Silverback 35QB4, with a PullRite 20.5K Super 5th Wheel Hitch & SuperRails, matched with the Trail Air Tri-Glide Pin Box - it pulls like a dream with this combo! I have found that hook-up with this hitch is actually very easy given its vertical "footprint". The air shock is easy to adjust and chucking is eliminated. If you have the option, in my opinion, it is well worth the additional $ to go with the Tri-Glide if possible.

UncleFudd, When I researched this for my new camper, here's what I found. There is a TrailAir rota-flex. This is a rubber shock absorption system. Next up the ladder is a TrailAir Air ride. This is probably what you have order and is pretty much self explanatory. At the top of the ladder is the TriGlide. This incorporates steel rollers that allows the bottom jaw "to glide". I'm also curious as to what type of hitch you have that does not allow a TriGlide. By the way, the TriGlide is about $400 more than what you paid.
