Everyone has their own taste, and if you want to name your RV I say go for it and do so.
My recommendation would be to have the decal letters made out of a reflective vinyl material. Such as I have letters on my Ford Superduty that in the day time look black, but at night when light shines on them they are a reflective Gold. The reflective color options are pretty broad to choose from. And being reflective at night could be a plus.
Pay attention to installation directions, make sure the surface is clean before applying the decal, use plenty of soapy water on both the decal and surface when setting the decal in the desired location and then squeegee the soapy water and any air bubbles out with care. They will last for many years to come.
