We have been our 40CCK for 1 month now and it is great. We love that the TV is built into a hutch instead of being on a riser. The 46" TV is great and once I figured out how to do the surround sound system it is even better. We love the island because 2 of us can be in the kitchen area preparing meals.

We put all our pots, pans and dishes in the drawers and used the cabinets for glasses and food. We like having the pots and things lower and the drawers work just fine.

We had a 200# propane tank delivered and hooked up so we don't have to take the 30# tanks and have refilled. We are on auto delivery so every time the gas truck is in this area they top off our tank and that has been working great.

We are in Virginia Beach and have had 2 snows and an icing event since we have been in the new cottage and it has handled all OK.

We love the 80" couch and the 2 recliners.

I think you will love your cottage.

Please forgive if this is in wrong place.
3 weeks ago we ordered a cars and were told 6-8 weeks. Let's hope. We did a lot of research Inc. Many calls to forest River. They were very help full, first sign of customer service I hope. We wanted some different items, some they would and some not ( like second heat pump, no and really would not why. But they would put in a heat strip in second a/c. Extend stainless back splash up to cabs. No, but would sell us 2 pieces (found exact match at Lowes). Wanted the theater seating option but they had no part number so we could see it at a lazy boy store. So she went out and took a picture for us, we got it. Many more but I'll save for later.

Our heater works great. We did not get a heat pump just the furnance and it keeps living area and bedroom toasty warm. We have 2 ACs but haven't used them yet. We can program living room AC and bedroom AC from 1 thermostat (zone 1 and zone 2).

The backsplash comes up high enough for us. The lazyboy couch and 2 recliner chairs are great and fit just right.

I tried on one of the theater seating combo and went with the 2 recliners, we also did the carpet delete in living area. In our last unit we put in vinyl plank that had the surface of lament flooring and looked like hard wood floors.

I wanted plank type flooring but they said no. Even thought she said they did put it in silver back but not cottage. Just one of those production things. By the way, saw the flooing in a silver at a rv show, beautiful!!

Would like to see a picture of that. We got our 2014 CCK in October and it did not have it.

Wonder if FR would sell it aftermarket.
