Do not know the answer but we have just ordered the "super glide" for our F350 standard bed truck so I have question to what is the hitch to have.

I have a B &W that fits into the Ford ohm puck system. I absolutely love it and was cheaper than any other hitch. It is a 20K hitch.

Correct. The only B&W Slider fits their Turnoverball gooseneck hitch. And it's a manual slider vs. automatic like the OP's Hijacker.

Duckogram,

"Interesting thread. The OP profile reads that he/she has a 2003 Chevy towing a 36CKTS.
Are you planning to put a Ford underbed hitch mount in your Chevy?"

"I" (me/he) have purchased Ford King Ranch, 6.7 Turbo, shortbed.
Just haven't changed my profile yet. I will change it when the truck is in the yard.

I don't know what a puck is, but I have a SuperGlide #2900 in my short-bed F350. It works great and carries 18,000 pounds with a rated vertical load weight of 4,500 pounds.

Reese makes adapters now for most OEM 5th wheel preps. You bolt the hitch to the adapter, which is permanently mounted to the hitch. The adapter interfaces to the OEM puck configuration. Go to etailers.com If you want to see what I am talking about. They show the comparable hitches with the adapter. Get the part number and check other sites for a cheaper price. They can be used with a slider. Your other option is a Reese sidewinder, which is what I am having installed on my 2015 Heritage Glen 356qbq.

Andersen Ultimate

Andersen Ultimate is an option that requires no slider. It's light and doesn't eat as much payload. Especially good if you already have an in-bed gooseball. Many threads on this board and on YouTube if interested.

I installed an under bed mount Hijacker auto slide in my 2005 king Ranch about a week ago. Haven't pulled with it much but it has really worked great.
BTW I tried the B&W slider first and it didn't work well . That is why I went with the hijacker.
