New Screen Door Slide - Available for CC?

We were at the RV show in CT and saw lots of the new campers had a new screen door opener installed. (Only saw one CC but it was an early model)... Anyone seen these on a Cedar Creek yet? and word on upgrades/after market???

This allows opening the screen without having to open the slider window.

Found some info

Looks like it is made by Lippert - Part # 239061 - ~$15.00 plus shipping.

Dimmensions are 12" long x 9 3/4" tall... going to have to measure the opening now...

Well it is on the way and I will photo document how it goes...

I was SHOCKED to see a 10 PSI door strut! The 20 PSI unit on my camper just about destroyed my door. I removed it completely or I would have had to buy a new door.

Now the correct part is on their web site. Grrrr.

Same screen door gizmo as my Greg Wolf. Works perfectly aside from a handle to pull the door closed once inside.

Thanks for the info, we were just at the RV Show in Columbus today, and I wanted to see if these were out yet. Did anyone order one yet?

Same handle we have on our 2013 Sabre. A word of caution, I've noticed the clear plastic panel became a little scratched after awhile. Used some Plexus plastic cleaner on it and it helped a little.

Will not fit the 38FL

Well went out and measured earlier today.... our slider is 12 x 12... Will have to take a look a little bit closer at it next weekend at the Boston Show and see if there is a way to make one that fits ours.

Most of the older screen doors have the 12X12 as stated, they don't make the slider with the opener in that size.

You would have to replace the entire door to get that opener.

I am going to measure mine today, they had a couple sizes yesterday on the new TT at the show. I really like the improvement.

My 2011 is a 12 X 12 size also. I just emailed Lippert to see if they make it. I will let you know what they say.

Camping World Part #

I saw the camping world (Camco) door opener - has mixed reviews on some of the forums. Will wait to see if Lippert is going to make a 12 x 12 or just leave well enough alone...

We will be at the show in Boston on Saturday and may take a small tape measure to see if there are any out there as well.

Thanks

Walter

Just got a email back from Lippert, they do not make the 12X12 size. I sent one back to see if they can just sell the knob section and might be able to retro fit it to ours. I will let you know.

They emailed back, they do not sell the knob section by itself. You can order the slide, and then take apart the knob section and modify it to work on the 12X12. He said a few people ordered them to do that.

This came standard from the factory on our Sabre. It's a simple thing, but we like it.

I measured my OEM clear screen door opener slide and it measures 8 3/4 tall by 12 inches wide.

The link I provided ships at 9 3/4 inches; so it was one inch I cut off to make it work.

I was at my dealer yesterday and inquired about the opener. Seems all the Surveyors, Sierras and a few others had the opener, but not the Cedar Creek. Not sure how one could remove the knob/puck and put on a larger slide section as the CC has. Most of the new CC's have a concave/convex slider and they won't work. If I could find that, get my switch on the entry door to make the interior light above door come on aand maybe one or 2 other minor add-ons, I would be a happy camper. My keyless RVlock works great.
