Someone at Cedar Creek must have been listening because our Silverback has a bedroom light switch.

Here's a question. On the switch panel there are two spaces blanked out and one is labeled O.D.S. light and the other is D.S. light. Am I right in assuming they stand for Outside Docking Station Light and Docking Station Light? I can't think of anything else they could stand for.

It's hard to tell in the photo but those are just black covers in those two positions and not switches.

I was told O.D.S. stands for Off Door Side and D.S. is Door Side. I believe they refer to the "scare" lights on both sides of the unit.

Oh, that makes better sense. I don't have scare lights so naturally they would be blanked out. Thanks for the info.

OK - I'll ask - just what are "scare lights"?

I have a 2012 Silverback 29rk and don't know what they refer to.

scare lights have clear lenses on them and are very bright on both side of the trailer .
they are used to turn on if you need extra light or if someones rummaging around your trailer to scare them off !

I was fortunate enough to have been brought up camping since I was 5.
my mom and dad bought a new travel trailer every other year till I graduated high school they always liked holiday ramblers . Then I bought my first "camper" a pickup bed camper "which" I still have ! Then I bought a Terry trailer a Flagstaff and now on to my palomino sabre 5er .

Long story short I have been camping for 35 years .

I will like to see them in addition to all the other projects you have going on e.g. stabilizer kits.
