BTW, I love the cathedral ceilings in the Silverback.
Oakman - I know what you mean here - I just raise the rears and stop every so often to see where they are - or even better have the DW look and tell me when to stop. Just be glad the switch is in an enclosed compartment!
We like the catheral ceiling in our 2012 29rk also.

We love the ceilings too. Really appreciated the space it has since we had some major rain come through and was stuck inside. I was also surprised at how quite it was when it did rain compared to our TT.

We are currently at Carlyle Lake again. Man, some nasty storms passed through the area last night. The good news is that I don't think our new Silverback has any leaks, at least I couldn't find any...YEA!

Back in 2007 when we bought our Wildcat 28 RKBS we discovered MAJOR water leaks in both slideouts of the brand new trailer. Naturally we were 1000 miles from home and on an extended trip. I managed to fix the leaks myself but that was the main reason we didn't buy another Wildcat. I was even hesitant to buy another Forest River product, but I'm glad I did. I love the new Silverback.

Sorry about the slow response but I was in Italy when this was posted. The pantry isn't very deep and it has three shelves in the top half. The lower half serves as a coat closet. The top shelves are 5 1/4 inches deep by 16 1/2 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches high.

Now I know why I got such a good deal on our 29RL, that floorplan has been discontinued. I glad we bought it when we did because it was the only floorplan that we liked of the brands that are sold within 100 miles of our house. The new 33RL would not have suited our wants and needs.

Oakman

speaking of discontinued floor plans I remember you saying recently that your 2013 Silverback had a wall switch for the bedroom ceiling lights and also yours had a light over the steps to the bedroom. This was in reply to our talking about adding a second A/C to the bedroom. I mentioned this to our FR rep the other day and he said "yes that is a new feature on the 2013's"

We have a 2012 Silverback 29rk and we don't have either one of those two things you have.

I guess that FR just has to keep adding or redesigning things just so they can call them new. Of course FR isn't the only company that does this

I wonder what the 2014 models will nave that the current ones don't.
