I'm not trading campers anytime soon so it doesn't matter to me. Just spent $4,000 bucks on this one, how ever I might look at the Lippert steps.

Has anyone had actual experience using these steps?

My concerns are the distance required from the door when deployed. Looks like about four feet?
This could be an issue in parking lots and some storage situations.

Biggest issue is what to do with the rain, mud, dirt, etc when storing. Looks like all this will end up on the floor inside the RV. Cleaning and or drying the steps prior to storage would be a major PITA especially in a rain storm.

Looks like another great idea by someone that has never had RV experience.

I am on the do not like them side. Because I could not extend them were I store our trailer and when traveling and need a quick stop.

I ask Morryde about the rain, dirt and mud getting inside the coach and their answer is simply to wipe them down. Damn, now why didn't I think of that!
Just one more thing to add to the list of things to do before leaving the CG and not something I look forward to in a rain storm.

New standard Cedar Creek steps

I will again say we are not buying a new Cedar Creek due to this stair issue. Unworkable aside from dirt, water and ability to move them. They won't fit everywhere.

Going to RV show tomorrow. Hope to ask CC Rep. if Champagne can be purchased with different stairs.

Local CC dealer was not at the Dallas RV show and I did not see any other trailers using the Morryde stairs. I did see the new Vanleigh Vilano fivers and they are pretty impressive.

I saw their new front living room floor plan at Hershey and was impressed, they have a slide out that opens up the bed room and bath room and made this one of the nicest front living rooms I have seen.

Saw the new steps on a few high end Montana units yesterday on a dealers lot.
I like the steps and hopefully my dogs will like these very stable steps more than the shaky folding steps.
