They hit on every one of your comments. Solid, don't stick way out, adjustable. The whole 9 yards.

You left out they are ugly and look like they were made from an erector set.

Just heard from my Cedar Creek factory contact and they have worked it out so that the Aluminum Quad fold up steps are 100% available as a requested order option. The MorRyde steps are still the standard build steps.

Plus there are many new features on the new 2017 Champagne model. Currently building them, but new brochure still weeks away. I was sent some pictures today. We can't wait to order ours.

I think that is a very smart move to make the quad steps an option. As far as the Champagne, my local dealer has a 2017 on his lot and it's simply gorgeous! You'll fall in love with it as soon as you see it.

We ordered a 34RL2 yesterday and we had originally embraced the new Moride steps. What changed our mind was my wife reached for the door lock while standing on the ground to simulate unlocking with the steps up and it was a struggle. She is 5'2" tall so this is something to consider that I haven't read anywhere else.
I'm 5'7" and it was manageable for me, but as time goes by it will become difficult.
So yes, we ordered the traditional quad fold steps.

Did we mention that this step has a really good personality and tells good jokes? 😳

Oops...I was wrong. It's a 2016 Champagne that I saw. Sorry
