How did you get your rig in the factory for repairs? I tried to get my 2014 34RLSA in last October to get the faded front cap repaired, thy told me it would be June 2015. Can't get my dealer to do anything yet either. It still isn't repaired yet and is starting to look terrible. I haven't had much luck with Cedar Creek.

I made my appt. at the Rally in Goshen last summer. I am pretty sure the painting firms that do the front caps have scheduling problems of their own. Good luck.

These caps are actually gel coat, not paint, so painting them is not the correct solution. What you are seeing is not actually paint fading. What I see in your picture appears to be oxidation of the gel-coat caused by UV rays. I am guessing you are primarily in a hot climate? There is a sand and buff process that will renew the finish. Once that has been completed, we recommend applying a UV resistant 2K Urethane clear-coat to prevent this from reoccurring. I would recommend getting in touch with your local Forest River dealer for an evaluation.

I have the SAME ISSUE and it is in the shop right now. The comments got me thinking and i contacted FR and my dealer on the process AND a preventative reoccurrence measure.
I do not want to post what I received across the forum. This is an isolated issue and FR IS STEPPING UP 100%.
If interested on the correct fix, send me a PM and I will respond with a PM with my mobile number.
I believe it will make you more at ease.

I am thoroughly aware that the caps are gel coat as I had to get some gel coat sent to me to repair a chip on the cap that the dealer only found when he was prepping it.
