No Fan on AC unit

Yes I know it is the wrong time of the year for the AC to be on, but this is the first time out since we got our new trailer. I turned on the Fan only and nothing...I then turned on the AC and the compressor starts but no fan???? It will come no and run for a few minutes and then shut off. Anyone ever have this happen or know where I can check to see what's the problem.....Thanks

Well after some more investigating I found Domestic had a problem with these AC units....I did notice for an HP unit it really didn't cool very well....which was a problem with these units and eventually the fan freezes up.....hmmmmmmm don't make me happy that's for sure..just glad I do t need it right now

My guess that two wires on the back of the thermostat were reversed when the thermostat was installed.

May be that fan motor failed. Have you tried both hi and lo speeds?

The fan wasn't the problem in the defective units was it?
I thought it was a rubbing issue that put a hole in the freon line.

I had one that the fan motor bushings dried up and so I sorted the shaft with wd40 and never had a problem again.
