Noisy Dometic fridge fan

It was our second trip out with the new trailer. The fridge just started making a loud buzzing sound. I believe it's the cooling fan. Anyone else have this happen and is the fan easy to replace

I disconnected the loud stock fan and put in a bigger quieter one.

I only have 1 fan just below top vent. It looks very dirty. New trailer to. Think I will replace with new one maybe 2. TURBS it looks like yours was replaced with 115V fan.

Doug, I replaced it with two actually.
1 120v and 1 12v
The top is 120v but I also added a temp controller as you can see above the fridge.
I also have the same size fan in the lower compartment that is 12v and also runs on a fan controller.
Both 120mm

Ok that makes sense. Did you remove fridge or work through the 2 outside vents.

On my 29RE CC 5er they show 2 fans on fridge schematic.....They must be between lower and higher vents......I cannot hear them...I am thinking that they may not be there without taking the unit out from inside......any ideas???? J

Jim, I was able to take the top vent off and look down to see a single fan in mine.

If your fridge is in your slide they are likely there. It has to get pretty warm before they turn on. Maybe use camera or mirror to view them between vents

No my fan controller automatically turns them on when the fridge cabinet area reaches 102 then shut off when cooled down to 95

Turbs, with your temp controller parameters set at 102 and 95 do you find your fan(s) cycling on and off a lot? I'm assuming that with this narrow of a temp variation you are achieving a more constant temperature in your fridge.
