Nose cap spider cracks

I have a 2011 cedar creek silverback 29rl. It has only been pulled about 40 miles since it has always been on a permanent campsite. I notice last week that there are several spider cracks on the nose of he rv. This not acceptable for the price of this unit. Has anyone had any experience with this issue. Other than that the RV is great.

Take pictures and call the factory. Call Kevin at 260-593-2326, tell him when you first noticed it and what if anything you've done, he will help.
They are great to work with and they do work with you.

Hope this helps
God bless,
Mike

We had a KZ with a fiberglass nose. It had spider cracks after towing many miles. KZ replaced the nose piece,at the factory while we camped there. Hope F/R does as well. Youroo!!

Did you ever get any feed back yet from forest river?
Thank you,
Glenn

Nose cap cracks update

After many phone calls forest river/cedar creek has agreed to replace the front cap. This will be done in November or December after I winterized the unit. Thanks to Mr. A.C. Stone with Cedar Creek for helping me get the process moving. Once I made contact with him things fell into place. Other than the front cap issue this is a great RV.

As a new Silverback owner I'm glad to hear Cedar Creek is going to take care of your issue.

We bought a Silverback 35Qb4 last July and after two weeks I noticed cracks all over one side of the front cap. When taking a better look found a spot that had been painted with sanding marks showing. I showed the dealer and they took pictures as did I. We both sent them to forest river. After a couple of months and several emails from me and or dealer the cap and a long list of other smaller issues where approved. We then waited until late October for the cap. In that time one of the never adjust brakes fell apart. When they removed the cap we found they had repaired the cap before it got to the dealer. We saw the camper the day the dealer got it. In the end we love our camper but Forest River lack of caring if we are happy is very unsettling. We hope things go better this year.
