Oops, sorry, i just went out and pulled my manual. It says nothing about manually cranking the rooms in. There is a troubleshooting section, but that is basic, ben no obstructions stuff.
It does give a phone number and web site. 866 524 7821 and ask for slide room technical support. Or www.cmsystemsinc.net

I think if it were me, I would crawl under, remove the outer nut from the ram, and try closing. If the ram moves in, then you have a mechanical jamb. Put things back together, clear the jamb and close the room. If the ram does not move, them one of your selector valves is closed, your low on fluid, or your pump is not pumping.

Yeah, we gave up! Lol! Guess we are gonna have to pay a mechanic to come out and look at the hydraulic pump. It's running but it's sucking up all the fluid, it's not leaking anywhere we can see but it's got to be going somewhere. Time to call the professionals in! Was hoping to spare ourselves the cost!

Thanks for the pic, now we know we were doing something right! Www did try that, it wouldn't move so there must be a jam somewhere. That sucks! So we were doing it right.....now it's gonna cost us some money!

It's not easy to turn. your pushing against the hydraulic ram. What I did was run the pump "in" for a few seconds, then crank by hand until resistance is felt. Run the pump a few seconds again then crank by hand again.
If yours wont budge at all than you have a jam somewhere.

Ok I'm going to try to help. Look at the end of the pump. In the middle, on mine, is a hex key entry way. You might have some tape or paper over the hole. Break through the covering and get the right sized hex key. I had to cut a hex key so I could use it with a cordless drill. Make sure that the hydraulic taps are in the open position. I have one for each slide on my 5er. That is, turn them all the way to the left if they aren't that way already. Insert the hex key and use the drill to bring the slides in. Now I have never done it myself so you'll have to experiment to find out which way to run the drill to bring them in, unless someone chimes in to tell you. Hopefully what I told you is what you have on your trailer. Good luck.

That procedure is only used if the pump is not running. Their pump is running, so it won't help.

Guys, that special hex key for the hydraulic pump is nothing more than a screwdriver bit turned over and placed in the drill.
