Painted caps

I just got a note on my Facebook Cedar Creek page that I will be able to order a new Cedar Creek 36 CK-2 starting July first, with painted end caps. Now I need to figure out what a CK-2 is. If that's a new version of the CKTS...I'm in!

I saw the prototype and it has a double sink in the bathroom it is the biggest change also the television no longer comes out of the cabinet so you loose the window there. I did not take any pictures. I saw it at the factory very quickly.

Is the painted end caps specific to only one floor plan or could I order painted caps on a 34RL.

This whole gel coat fading issue has been a significant concern on whether or not I will be ordering a Cedar Creek.

I sent Forest River a Facebook message and within 5 minutes they sent the following reply to my question on painted cap on 34RL (assume all Hathaway models).

From Forest River:
"If you order a unit today, the front cap will be painted. There will be several changes that will be announced to the dealer tomorrow. We are taking the photographs tomorrow. Stay tuned.."
