Parts From Cedar Creek - Contact

Does anybody have a good phone number to get parts from Cedar Creek? I need yet another led puck light above the bunks. Contact in the switch must have welded itself together or something as the light will not shut off. Switch will click on / off, but light won't go off. For now I just told the wife to clip one of the wires where it's soldered to the switch and cap it. These lights are pretty much garbage, but until I can find something different to replace them, I need another one. I know with Forester, I could call up there and they'd send parts to me pretty quick, no questions asked.

Does Cedar Creek have somebody like this that I can contact, and them send a light to us?

Maybe. I've got that sheet, but was hoping somebody had a reliable name / number with results. I'll try Fred Cain. I've dealt with him a little. Thanks Doug.

I guess it's just that after years of dealing with different manufacturers, I know you have those lists, but then you have THOSE lists of people to contact. You know, those people that you found by chance or through somebody else that get results for you fast. Maybe Fred Cain is the one, but after numerous emails regarding other items, he doesn't answer. I did get him on the phone once, but that was to send a part that they forgot to send to the dealer while it was in for the front cap replacement. Hadn't got any responses since.

I've always heard about the great people at Cedar Creek, but I'm still somewhat new to Cedar Creek.

All I need is a light, or 2, some spare trim, and a piece of wall board maybe. Only reason for the trim or wall board, is they switch interior colors and such so often, I don't want to get stuck with fixing damage with something that doesn't match. I did want to find out more about the stain color, but that's a total loss. I think I'm pretty much on my own with that one since I think all that is subbed out.

Just curious if there is another go to guy, or gal that will actually answer emails or calls. Like April did with the motorized division.

I talked to Amy Jones Friday the 13, about a part I had ordered, the part had come in, I just wanted to know something about the part. Amy is a great person to work with.

Well, no luck so far. Called Amy, left message, never got a call back. This time, I'll chalk it up to the fact it's monday. I'll try again tomorrow. I usually have better luck going straight to the manufacturer of the part, finding a supplier, and getting it right away. Just easier. I'll give them another shot though.

Ok. Amy came through for us. She said she'd help us out, but normally we would've / should've gone through the warranty department. She processed the order and sent the information to the warranty department for us. I'll have to ask later just who that warranty person is. This didn't cost us anything and she did help us out, but, seems if I'd have went through warranty, it could've stretched things out a bit more time wise. With cheap parts, I'd just rather get them coming and avoid a bunch of people involved.

From the sound of it, these lights are very cheap, which is obvious by looking at them. Seems we're definitely not the first to have issues with them. In the long run, I will be looking for better alternatives to replace them.

I hit a post with camper and I just ordered the part from Amy. One dealer told me that only the dealer could order parts but I can call Amy and order any part from her that I want. My part was not under warranty. Knock on wood this Cedar Creek has been a very good camper.
