Picked up 2016 Silverback 31RK this week. Ordered it and it just came in from factory

They started putting in a Westinghouse 11 cu ft electric with a 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter. I froze some water bottles in the freezer and distributed them in the fridge while driving 10 hours. Everything in fridge cold and still frozen even with fridge off that long, summer might be different.

With the Inverter configured properly the fridge should be on all the time even while traveling on the road.

If you only have 1 12v battery I can see why you did that. My CC had a 600W inverter and 4 6v batts. The fridge and all of the 12v circuits would run for 3 days without a problem. Its important to have ice for the martini's while watching the buffalo stroll by.

Enjoy your new SB.

2015 Silverback Owner

Just purchased the same coach this month.
Really love the rear kitchen and the addition floor space it provides.
Have taken it to Bryce and Zion National Parks and enjoyed every minute we spent in it (though it wasn't much during the day).
If you don't mind, what are you towing it with.

I'm also looking at the 31RK, but also like the 29IK and the 29RE. I really like the rear kitchen though as it does open up the RV. What options did you get and what ones would you suggest. Couche's RV in Ohio is the only place that I know of that has all three models that I can actually see side by side but it's over 600 miles from where I live. Just might have to take a road trip ! I have heard nothing but great things about Couche's RV, great prices and service.
