Another option to consider that many are doing with this truck is to change the rear axle blocks. This could give you a 1.5 inch drop and your truck will still have some rear rake. Check the Ford forum.

As already said, just looking at the picture you can probably go to the bottom hole on the hitch adjustment. From the the top holes to the bottom is 2 1/2 inches, RV will be darn close to level. It's really hard to tell by the picture , but it looks like you have about 5 inches clearance now, the extra height should make it right where you need. Good luck.

As others have said your Reese is adjustable. It has three setting (bolt holes) and they are about 1 1/4" apart. My Reese is about 4 years old but I assume they are similar.
It is a bit of a job but I have moved mine three times in the last four months. Once when we backed into the new 5r in September and twice now after installing an air ride hitch. Still messing with my settings trying to get the trailer level!

Just make sure you torque them correctly when you adjust.

Pulling 5er with new 2017 Ford Super Duty

You can get a big torque wrench and do it right, or use a smaller one and torque it to 125 ft lbs twice. Just kidding.

You are really lucky in that you need to go up and have plenty of adjustments you can make. I was nose high with new F350 SRW no adjustments left on hitch or pin box. Luckily got ok to drill hole in pin box so could raise it one more notch.

Happy RVing

You did not say how new your truck is. If its brand new, the the rear is going to settle down, the springs will develop their set, bushing will wear in and when its all said and done it will come down 1 in or so. It will settle in over a few pulls and some highway miles. Mine settled in slowly and I went from a nose up to a level with my CC.

So first make sure you have some space between and remember its a compromise between level and how close it is to the rails. I think I am at 5 in, but not sure, I was at 4 in when I first hooked up and my tail end of the truck sait high.

I run a Pullrite ISR Superlite 20k which uses a ball system rather than a flat plate. (I will NEVER go back to a flat plate system again!)

If your rig has been pulling and its already settled in then as others stated drop your pin box or raise you plate as need to get level.

Update... I did take it to a hitch installers. 20 bucks and they raised my Reese Custom hitch to the top setting and torqued correctly. That gave me a good 6 inch clearance. Truck rear still above level a inch or so when all loaded and hitch.

Truck pulled CC great to Florida, little over 1200 miles.

We talked with a guy at our RV Resort that delivers allot of 5th wheels. He stated CC always pull very well, they have excellent balance for pulling.
