Push button LED's

Has anyone found a good replacement light for these cheap button ones on the Silverbacks?

A lot of places have those button lights.

Got a pic for those of us not in the Silverback world?

The gentleman at the company that produced the lights I spoke with that sent me replacements was more than willing to hear about the issues and try to solve by sending replacements. Even if they need to be a different design. He did mention that CC was in some cases not installing with a 1" opening between the light and the housing where the wires come through.

Granted they will be more of the same, but if some of your lights fail ... just contact FR warranty dept. These lights have a lifetime warranty ... FR sends them out by the truck load. I got a whole sack full.

My only problem is the get so hot that I am afraid they'll start a fire. The LED 's that have the black switch on the lens are the worst. The hot glue they use to hold the switch to the plastic frame melts when left on long enough causing the glue to clog up the switch.

I agree with the fire scare.

Been there ... I took photos of readings with my heat gun and sent them in to FR ... they fowarded them on to the manufacturer. Both were aware of the isssue before I sent them. Some of mine got so hot they turned blue on the circuit board, melted the lense, and one even melted the wires laying on top popping a fuse. They did change something on the circuit board because the replacements FR sent aren't as bright, still get warm, but not hot enough to melt anything.

I purchased new 12V Led lights from Amazon Prime for $13.00 a piece. I bought 5 new lights that replaced two over the reclines chairs, two in the bedroom over the pillows and one in the kitchen area that is over the counter. These are the lights from Amazon prime:5 of NEW RV LED 12v 4200K PANCAKE CEILING FIXTURE SINGLE DOME LIGHT FOR CAMPERS TRAILERS RV MARINE
Sold by: Recreation Proô

These work!

When taking the old lights out I found that the adhesive that is used to hold the switch in place melts. This is what is causing the light switch to fail in my case as the adhesive gets into the switch and prevent its from turning on or off in most cases.

I sent you an e-mail to you.

The supplier does not offer a part number to order from.
